In Japan we have a word for a very special kind of sleep. That word is NEMURI™, a sacred state of being that bestows countless health and spiritual benefits. TCM (Traditional Chinese Medicine)

The NEMURI™ formula, like most Japanese herbal formulas, originally comes from Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). Traditional Chinese Medicine has been practiced for a very long time, over five thousand years.

TCM believes all life, in fact the universe, is animated by an energy they call chi. We Japanese call this life force ki. There is a female side of ki called ying and a male side called yang. Your body is a small universe connected to the larger universe by this life force ki which gives you life, connects you to all other life, and ultimately to the entire universe.

In order to be healthy, TCM believes ki must be balanced and flowing unobstructed throughout your entire miraculous body. When health problems arise, such as the horrible inability to experience deep restful sleep, it is because the flow of ki is somehow obstructed or out of balance.

Through the centuries, practitioners of TCM have discovered by careful observation which herbs can safely balance (harmonize) ki for a variety of health conditions, including, of course, insomnia. TCM is without a doubt the most tested and safe method of health restoration known to mankind.

The Experience

The NEMURI™ experience is truly profound. It begins by taking two capsules approximately thirty minutes before retiring. How long you remain in phase two of NEMURI™ again differs from person to person. Normally phase two lasts almost until daybreak.

Finally you enter phase three of NEMURI™.

This is the shortest phase, but I consider phase three to be the most spectacular of all the wonderful phases of NEMURI™, for it is in phase three that we see our waking life most clearly. It is the transitional phase from sleeping to awakening. In the west you call phase three of NEMURI™, the "hypnogogic" state.

Phase three is where you experience the true meaning of your life. It is where that seemingly insurmountable problem you've been toiling with suddenly is solved. It is where you feel incredibly blessed simply to be alive. Phase three has been described as an ocean of love and clarity, perhaps a glimpse into the heaven for which we are all destined.
